Grand Canyon Overlook

     I was at the Canyon for a few weeks, just the dogs and I hiking and painting. I don't even remember the name of this particular overlook. It's an unusual one though, because I don't think I've ever seen it painted anywhere before. I had already started this painting, but just finished it today.

Nice painting, James. You did a very good job depicting the dramatic late afternoon (or early morning) lighting.

Very cool! I even thought it was a photo from the first glaze. I was at the Grand Canyon once and it's really amazing. I want go there someday more. It's so amazing how creative out nature is!
