US AIR FORCE

This was a huge plane as you can tell by the tiny pilot windows. In many of these planes at the museum, you can go up inside and check them out. The older Service Planes weren't built for comfort; Just a metal frame with sheet metal covering, no insulation or inside covering. It was very cold for the service men, that why they had those really nice Air Force leather flight coats.

I really like your airplane series. As you said, this plane is huge! Nice job in painting the shadows and capturing the age of the plane.

Discovered u through Carol Marine's blog. Love your work! Anyway you can allow your readers to click on your art to see more of your paint handling? I just posted one of your aircraft paintings and a few of Carol's and one of mine on my blog under the heading "I'm bummed!!!!" The Connie is my favorite aircraft.
